Elko adopted with his sweetie Abby!

and his kennel mate/sweetheart "Happy Abby" went home with Elko too!

Feb 26 - happy adoption update from OHS for big hound boy Elko and his sweetie Huskie mix Abby!
I love them, my girlfriend and I both love them.
They just love us, love the family.
Both are great with kids, I'll send pictures of the dog's following my nephew on my dirt bike.
They love the room to play, they're the best of cuddlers. ...

Abby is such a sweet heart. Loves everyone that comes and visits
Her and my 3 year old niece are inseparable.
Chief (Elko) has improved so much. He loves long runs when I'm working in the field, he comes when he's called he, they are a perfect fit for our home.

Available for Adoption with Oregon Humane Society

Elko  - here's my OHS weblink
my animal id # is  168654

Are you an active person who likes to be on the go? My name is Elko and I am a young boy with lots of energy! I like to run and play, one of my favorite things to do is play ball! If you are looking for a running partner I am a great choice, I go running multiple times each week with the OHS Running Team! I can sometimes be too enthusiastic when playing and will benefit from a home with dog savvy children. The ideal place for me would have a fully fenced yard and will continue working with me on basic training. I will also need a cat-free home to spend forever in, but I don’t mind because I have more than enough love to give my people. My friends here at OHS have told me that I am a bit of a goofball. I’m just so happy when I get to spend time with people. If you are looking for a big active boy who is ready to go on lots of adventures, I would love to meet you. A training consultation is included prior to my adoption.
