"COLIN" "MCAS Colin 2" - the Cocker Colin :)

ADOPTED!!

I am a jaunty and well behaved fellow looking for a family to call my own. I am mature and well behaved and hope that I catch your eye.

I will need regular grooming and gentle daily exercise to keep me in shape. I am looking for a home with a single person, couple, or family with kids over the age of 6 years.
Like all Cocker Spaniels, I am smart, love my daily walks, and have lots of charm! I am about 8 years of age and I weigh a well-fed 34lbs. Ask about ME today! Here's my MCAS Weblink

"TROOPER" delightful Shiba Inu tripod mix!

we don't know what else is in Trooper's breed mix, but he sure is cute!
ADOPTED!

Trooper is a very special little dog but by no means “special needs”. Trooper came to the shelter with a badly injured leg that needed to be amputated. He’s recovered from his surgery in a loving foster home. His foster family reports that being a tripod has not slowed him down one bit. He’s a happy, playful boy full of puppy exuberance! Trooper enjoys playing with his canine foster siblings but we have no history wit cats so a cat free home is likely best. Trooper is best suited to a family with children 10+. While in his foster home he’s learned his crate training, nearly perfected his house training and is learning “all three on the floor” and other basic obedience. The shelter recommends his new family sign him up for obedience classes so he can continue down his path of higher learning. Trooper is an active, smart little man that is sure to keep you entertained. The shelter estimates him at approximately one year of age. To learn more about this charmer call 503-988-7387 extension #25242.

"NATHAN" well mannered Rat Terrier

ADOPTED!

I am a quiet and well mannered man looking for a loving home. I like to take things slow when meeting new people and going new places, but I am a friendly fellow when I get to know you.

I may not be suited for a home with young kids or cats, but a patient person who will keep me well exercised and loved would be a great match. I am about 3 years of age and I weigh around 15lbs.

Ask about me today! Here's my MCAS weblink

"SEYMORE" I do so well in a HOME!

ADOPTED!!!

Hello my shelter name is Seymour, as in sensitive Seymour. I may look like a burly boy but inside this sturdy body is a fragile young man. I was lucky enough to stay with some nice people for a week before coming to the shelter. They treated me very well and gave the shelter all sorts of great information about me. I have great house skills, walk nicely on a leash and ride well in a car. They even trained me to a crate!. My favorite toy is one of those silly squeaky hamburger toys. See what a gentle boy I am.

I even lived for that short time with their dogs and cats. Well I didn't cuddle with the cat but I did coexist. I was however great with their dog, playing, sleeping and overall very gentle with them. My shelter friends are asking that we go to classes or work one on one with a trainer so I can gain more confidence.

Do I sound like a good fit for you? Please ask about me today. I am a black and white male American Pitbull mix, around years old and weigh about 70 lbs. I had my neuter surgery on 7/29/13 Come visit! Here's my MCAS weblink

"MARS" red, round and wonderful!

Hello, my name is Mars! If you can't tell by my photo then I will tell you how my name became Mars! I am a sweet middle aged boy that hasn't missed a meal! With portion control, daily exercise and a low fat diet, I can slim down and become healthy again! I am currently in a foster home where they learned so much about me. I love going for walks, playing with balls and hanging around with my family. I do not climb on furniture or beg for food, see I am a highly evolved boy! I know what you are asking me to do when you say “sit, get your ball, go get it and go potty”. I am a little too interested in cats so a “no cat” household for me please! I would do best with a retired family that can hang with me but am open for most offers. It won't take you long to fall in love with my sweet personality I am around 8 years old and weigh a hefty 103 pounds. Did I mention that I am a full deal package? • Tons of love • One year supply of tennis balls • Treats • Chew bone • Pill pockets for my pills • My own bed • Harness • Collar • Leash • Toys • Tons of bags to clean up after myself

"PIPPIN" happy Chihuahua mix puppy!

ADOPTED!

Hello big world! As you can see, I am an adorable PUPPY. In fact, I am the quintessential puppy. I like to run and play and CHEW and then fall asleep in your lap. And then I like to run and play and CHEW and then fall asleep in your lap. And then I like to run and play and CHEW and then fall asleep in your lap. Get the idea? I am in a foster home enjoying time with two other dogs. I just want to play with them all day! And what’s with that other fuzzy animal? It hisses at me and just does not want to play. So confusing! I am doing very well at my crate training and I walk nicely on a leash. I am sleeping through the night for my foster mommy and am very good about going potty outside when you take me for walks. I am about 4 months old and because I’ll always be just a little guy, I should go to a home with children over 12. You will be asked to sign up for obedience classes as part of my adoption.

"LUCY" shaggy adorable Terrier

ADOPTED!

I am a well behaved dog who is just the right size for daily walks and hanging out with my humans. I have not shown much interest in playing or being super active here at the shelter, but that could always change when I get comfy in a home. I like being petted and scratched and told how pretty I am, but until I get to know you better I may object to things like hugs and being picked up.

I am best suited for a home with a single person, couple, or family with kids over the age of 8 years. Other dogs in the home may be a good fit if they are respectful and social. My response to cats is unknown. I am about 3 years of age and I weigh 23lbs.
